1. What we are

Upper Valley Connections ("UVC," "we," "us") is a community events and business directory covering the Upper Valley region of New Hampshire and Vermont. We publish events, business listings, and related content -- much of it submitted by third parties (event organizers, business owners, and community members).

2. User-submitted content

Events, business listings, hours, prices, and other details are submitted by the organizers and business owners themselves, or gathered from public sources. We review submissions for basic quality but don't independently verify every detail.

Information may be inaccurate, outdated, or change without notice -- always confirm directly with the event organizer or business before making plans, especially anything involving hours, pricing, or availability.

3. Accounts

Claiming or upgrading a business listing requires creating an account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the accuracy of information you submit. We may suspend or remove an account that provides false information or violates these terms.

4. Paid listings & sponsorships

Some features -- paid listing tiers, advertising, and sponsorships -- are billed through Stripe on a one-time or recurring basis, as described at the time of purchase. Recurring subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancelling stops future billing but doesn't refund the current billing period.

We reserve the right to review, and to remove without refund, any paid listing, ad, or sponsorship whose content we determine -- at our discretion -- is inappropriate, misleading, or otherwise unsuitable for the Site.

5. Prohibited use

Don't submit false, fraudulent, or misleading listings. Don't use the Site to harass, spam, or harm others. Don't attempt to interfere with the Site's normal operation or access it in a way that could damage or overburden it.

6. Our content -- no scraping or reposting

The compiled directory of events and businesses on this Site -- the aggregation, organization, and presentation of listings -- is our work product, even where an individual fact (an address, a business's hours) isn't ownable on its own.

You're welcome to browse the Site and link to it freely. You may not use automated tools (scrapers, crawlers, bots, or similar) to systematically extract our listings, or reproduce or republish a substantial portion of our directory or events calendar on another site, app, or service, without our prior written permission. If you'd like to license or syndicate our data, contact us -- we're generally open to it, just ask first.

7. No warranty

The Site and its content are provided "as is." We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any listing, event, or business information. We're not responsible for anything that happens -- or doesn't happen -- as a result of relying on information found here, including cancelled events, closed businesses, or incorrect hours.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UVC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated terms. We'll update the date at the top of this page when that happens.
